Softball Recap: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. Garner Trojans

Corinth Holders made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Garner, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Corinth Holders Pirates' way against the Garner Trojans on Friday as the Corinth Holders Pirates made off with a 17-2 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Mia Gwynn was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Megan Poole was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
