Basketball Recap: Ringwood Comes Up Short

Ringwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 41-33 to the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 48-46.

Ringwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringwood has already played their next matchup (against Kremlin-Hillsdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dover at 8:00 p.m. Dover's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's offense will have their work cut out for them.
