Basketball Recap: Plainview Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Plainview won the last time they faced Marietta and things went their way on Saturday too. The Plainview Indians came out on top against the Marietta Indians by a score of 46-33. The win was familiar territory for Plainview who have now won three games in a row.

Plainview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Murillo, who went 6 of 8 on her way to 12 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Murillo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Brown, who posted three points and five steals.

Plainview's record now sits at 3-1. As for Marietta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Plainview will be playing in front of their home fans against Pauls Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Marietta will take on Calera in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calera will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Marietta surely won't give up without a fight.
