Baseball Game Preview: North Mason Bulldogs vs. Bainbridge Spartans

For the second straight game, North Mason will face off against Bainbridge. The Bulldogs will welcome the Spartans at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

North Mason is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Bainbridge on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost eight in a row.

North Mason saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calvin Rice, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Bainbridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Mason, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
