Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kamdyn Morris and Alana Costello Lead Mead to Victory

Mead had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Regis Groff Fusion 3-0 on Friday.

Leading Mead to victory were Alana Costello and Kamdyn Morris. Costello had seven digs and two aces, while Morris had four assists and three aces. That's the most aces Costello has posted since back in November of 2024.

Regis Groff is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Alamosa on the 29th. Regis Groff has also already played their next game (against Greeley West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
