Independence's DeAnte' Townsend rumbled for the longest rushing play in Columbus City - South this season in his game against West last week. Townsend ran for 89 yards on the play and finished with 486 on the day as his team bested the Cowboys.

Marion-Franklin added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Eastmoor Academy, 17-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Red Devils.

Marion-Franklin's Justin Tyler and Omar Alfred have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tyler has thrown for 678 yards this season, while Alfred has 20 catches for 384 yards. Independence's Townsend leads the league in rushing yards with 1,363.

At the moment, the Warriors are in fourth, while Maurice Douglas' team is in third.

The 76ers led Columbus City - South in scoring this week by notching 88 points on West. Townsend ran for 486 yards in the win.
