Basketball Recap: Paoli Takes a Loss

Paoli suffered their biggest defeat since November 22, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 52-30 to the Springs Valley Blackhawks. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Paoli lost, don't look at Jericho Hopper. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. What's more, Hopper also racked up three blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kalyn Hannon, who had five points.

Paoli's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Springs Valley, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paoli has already played their next game (against South Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Springs Valley will square off against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Springs Valley is facing Salem at the right time seeing as Salem is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
