Soccer Recap: Muskegon Comes Up Short

Muskegon lost against Byron Center back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Big Reds came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Muskegon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Byron Center are ranked 11th).

Muskegon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Byron Center, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-1.

Looking ahead, Muskegon will challenge Caledonia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Byron Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Reeths-Puffer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
