Football Recap: Reagan Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

If Brandeis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Reagan, they should've done a better job of containing Edwin Bridges. The Rattlers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Broncos 20-17 with plenty of help from Bridges, who rushed for 191 yards and one TD while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.4 points over those games. As for Brandeis, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.

Reagan and Brandeis are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Rattlers will face off against Brennan at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. Reagan will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups. As for Brandeis, they will square off against Sotomayor at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Broncos will be up against the WILDCATS' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
