Everything went their way against the Northside Vikings on Friday as they made off with an 18-2 win. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Staunton River got a massive performance out of Jordyn Booher, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Booher a new career-high. Alexis Coles was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

Staunton River was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Staunton River pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Northside, Lord Botetourt, and Lord Botetourt. As for the Vikings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
