Basketball Recap: Elliott County Comes Up Short

Elliott County entered their matchup against Boyd County on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Elliott County Lions lost to the Boyd County Lions at home by a 85-70 margin. Elliott County lost against Boyd County in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 96-43 score last time.

Elliott County's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Boyd County, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.
