Basketball Recap: Paul Craig Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Iroquois, Clarion-Limestone was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 45-41 win over the Ridgway Elker. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Elker recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Clarion-Limestone's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Paul Craig led the charge by putting up 19 points and eight rebounds. Craig's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Brody Beggs was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.

Clarion-Limestone's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ridgway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Clarion-Limestone will welcome East Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgway, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 27-25 defeat against Kane on the 9th.
