Volleyball Recap: Florence's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Three Lakes, Florence was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Denmark Vikings by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Kelsi Chrisman paced Florence's offense, picking up seven kills. Chrisman got some help from Sami Demuri and her nine assists. Chrisman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashlyn VanDenHeuvel, each putting up three.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Denmark, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-5 record this season.

Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Reedsville on the 27th. As for Denmark, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Little Chute on the 27th.
