Basketball Game Preview: Ohio Valley Christian vs. Covenant Eagles

Ohio Valley Christian is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Grace Christian on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ohio Valley Christian was dealt a 71-36 loss at the hands of Grace Christian. Ohio Valley Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covenant). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging an 84-44 victory over West Logan Christian Academy. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 30 points or more this season.

Covenant has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Ohio Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
