After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Headland brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let the Highland Home Flying Squadron get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Henlee Floyd looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Headland got a massive performance out of Tiana Mitchell, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Mitchell a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Addison Grantham, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2.

Headland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Headland's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Highland Home, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Headland will take on Dothan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Home, they will square off against Eufaula at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Home has given up an average of 17.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
