Recap: Norte Vista Braves vs. Ramona Rams
The Norte Vista Braves had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 31-10 margin over Ramona. The result was nothing new for Norte Vista, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Norte Vista found their leader in underclassman Dreaddie Allain, who rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Allain was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was Taejon Henderson, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Norte Vista's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for Ramona, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.
Norte Vista will head out on the road to face off against Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loyola is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Ramona, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Gorgonio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
