Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King fell victim to Alice and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Marco Barrera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.

King's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Alice, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10-1 record this season.
