Basketball Recap: Northmont Comes Up Short

After flying high against Legion Collegiate Academy last Saturday, Northmont came back down to earth. The Northmont Thunderbolts lost 58-33 to the Fairmont Firebirds on Wednesday. The match marked the Thunderbolts' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northmont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fairmont, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Miamisburg the next time they take the court. Northmont will host Miamisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Fairmont will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
