Soccer Game Preview: Huron vs. Trenton

The Huron Chiefs will square off against the Trenton Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Huron is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bloomfield Hills just ended the team's 16-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Black Hawks.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Trenton rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They beat the Marauders by a goal, winning 2-1.

Katie Haveman was the driving force of Trenton's attack as she scored both of Trenton's goals, bringing her season total up to 19 goals.

Trenton has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those 12 games. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 16-2-1.
