Softball Recap: Hempstead Find Success

After losing to Indianola the last time they met, Hempstead decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Indians 8-6. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly two runs.

Hempstead now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Indianola, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Hempstead will challenge Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indianola, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against Ames on the 13th.
