Football Game Preview: Minnechaug Regional vs. Northampton/Hopkins Academy

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Minnechaug Regional. On Friday they take on Northampton/Hopkins Academy at 7:00 PM. Minnechaug Regional are coming into the matchup hot, having won three in a row.

Minnechaug Regional took the contest and then some with a 43-6 victory last Friday over Taconic.

Meanwhile, if Northampton/Hopkins Academy were riding high off their 42-6 takedown of Smith Academy/Smith Vo-Tech two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Northampton/Hopkins Academy fell to Longmeadow 14-28.

Minnechaug Regional simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Northampton/Hopkins Academy 35-0. Will Minnechaug Regional repeat their success, or does Northampton/Hopkins Academy have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
