Softball Recap: East Webster Comes Up Short

East Webster lost against Nettleton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa McCoy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

East Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Nettleton, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2-1.

Coming up, East Webster will head out to face off against Choctaw County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nettleton, they will square off against Amory at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
