Softball Recap: Edison's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Thursday just wasn't the day for Edison's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corning-Painted Post Hawks on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edison fell to 8-1. As for Corning-Painted Post, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Edison has already played their next matchup (against Corning-Painted Post West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Corning-Painted Post, they will face off against Windsor Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
