Soccer Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Laquey Hornets. That's two games in a row now that Parkview have lost by just one goal.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Laquey, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview will take on Waynesville at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laquey, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. James at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
