Football Game Recap: Kingwood Christian vs. Glenwood

Glenwood had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 31-18 win over Kingwood Christian.

After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Glenwood offense stepped up its game and put 14 points on the board in the second quarter. Kingwood Christian countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 14-6 going into the half. The offense for Glenwood continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 17 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 2-5. The defeat dropped Kingwood Christian's record to 5-3.

Glenwood will take on Tuscaloosa Academy at home at 8:00 PM next week. Tuscaloosa Academy enter the match touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals. As for Kingwood Christian, they will face off against Morgan Academy. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
