Recap: Meadowbrook Christian vs. Lititz Christian Eagles
Meadowbrook Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-49 victory over Lititz Christian. The victory was some much needed relief for Meadowbrook Christian as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Lititz Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eddie Vega, who scored 12 points along with seven steals. Caeden Harmon was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two blocks.
Meadowbrook Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Lititz Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook Christian will challenge Northumberland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northumberland Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. As for Lititz Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Covenant Christian Academy at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
