Volleyball Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Southern Trojans. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southern, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Western and Southern will both be playing Shawnee the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
