Basketball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva was the 53-30 winner over Dale County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Geneva Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 57-56 to the Dale County Warriors. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Dale County, they moved to 8-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Geneva will challenge Ashford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dale County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Houston Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Houston Academy is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Dale County will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
