Volleyball Recap: Camelback Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Camelback's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Tempe Buffaloes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game marked the Spartans' most dominant win of the season so far.

Camelback was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-19.

Elisha Barron was nothing short of spectacular: he had 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high.

Camelback's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Tempe, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Camelback wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against South Mountain on the 11th. As for Tempe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dysart on the 11th.
