Volleyball Game Preview: Carver Crusaders vs. Wareham Vikings

The Carver Crusaders will take on the Wareham Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Wareham will be up against a hot Carver team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Crusaders blew past Abington 3-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wareham, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on Atlantis with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with Atlantis recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Wareham's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Carver, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Carver beat Wareham 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
