Volleyball Recap: Rooted School Comes Up Short on the Road Against Indiana School for the Deaf

Rooted School had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-8, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Oriana Lowe, who had six kills and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Moise, who had four aces.

The win made it two in a row for Indiana School for the Deaf and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rooted School will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. on September 15. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will challenge Mooresville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each matchup than the last.
