Volleyball Recap: Union Academy Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Union Academy faced off against Charlotte Catholic on Wednesday. The Cardinals blew past the Cougars 3-0.

Union Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Charlotte Catholic to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-13.

Dhruv Srinivasan paced Union Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Srinivasan got some help from Carter Zorn and his 16 assists. Zorn was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Union Academy pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Charlotte Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
