Basketball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Metro Tech Knights

The Copper Canyon Aztecs will take on the Metro Tech Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Copper Canyon will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 84-4, which was the final score in Copper Canyon's tilt against Kellis on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Aztecs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Cougars are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Metro Tech lost to Moon Valley on the road by a 43-28 margin two weeks ago. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Copper Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Metro Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
