Friday just wasn't the day for Xavier Prep's offense. They came up short against the Palm Springs Indians on Friday, falling 26-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Saints have suffered since October 4, 2024.

Even if they lost, Xavier Prep's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Jacob Vann with four. He has become a key player for Xavier Prep: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 1-2 otherwise. Another thorn in Palm Springs' side was Lashon Taylor, who made 16 total tackles.

Bishop Miller was his usual excellent self, throwing for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground for Palm Springs.

This is the second loss in a row for Xavier Prep and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Palm Springs, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
