Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterville). They never let the Skowhegan River Hawks get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for Waterville as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Waterville's victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Skowhegan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Waterville will challenge Winslow at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Skowhegan, they will host Maine Central Institute at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
