There's no place like home for Compass Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Lamesa Tornadoes with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Compass Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Makayla Levario, who had nine digs.

Compass Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last eight matchups.

Compass Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Lamesa, they dropped their record down to 2-22 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
