Phillipsburg waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 55-45 win over the Hoxie Indians. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 63-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Phillipsburg pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Hoxie, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 17-3.
