Volleyball Game Preview: Decatur Christian Warriors vs. Calvary Christian Academy Knights

The Decatur Christian Warriors will head out to face off against the Calvary Christian Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Decatur Christian came up short against Judah Christian and fell 2-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to DeLand-Weldon by a score of 2-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Calvary Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25.

Decatur Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.

Decatur Christian beat Calvary Christian Academy 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
