Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Vernon vs. Forest Park

The Mt. Vernon Mustangs will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Forest Park Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on April 9th. Mt. Vernon fell 2-0 to Meridian.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Forest Park was forced to settle for a draw. They and Hylton finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Forest Park's goal came courtesy of Olivia Davis, who's now up to ten this season.

Forest Park's draw makes their record 5-6-1 this season. As for Mt. Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
