Softball Recap: St. Petersburg Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Petersburg Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sarasota Christian Blazers, falling 23-5. The Barons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blazers from their previous meeting back in April of 2016.

St. Petersburg Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sarasota Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, St. Petersburg Catholic will square off against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th. Sarasota Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cambridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on March 7th.
