Basketball Recap: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Layton Christian Academy Eagles
Taylorsville was the 54-21 winner over Layton Christian Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Taylorsville Warriors had to suffer through a 78-29 loss at the hands of the Layton Christian Academy Eagles. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.
Taylorsville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tessa Duke, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points, and AP Apathjang, who posted nine points along with five boards and three steals.
Layton Christian Academy's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances.
