Football Recap: Nicolet Comes Up Short

Nicolet made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cedarburg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-6 on Friday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Nicolet's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cedarburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Nicolet is set to face off against their familiar foe Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cedarburg will challenge rival Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
