Baseball Recap: Woodstock North Takes a Loss

Woodstock North managed to slip by Sandwich the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Thunder came up short against the Indians on Monday, falling 13-3. The Thunder were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Brady Rogers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Woodstock North and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Sandwich, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

While Woodstock North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
