Volleyball Recap: First Coast Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

First Coast Christian lost against Beaches Chapel back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-8.

Evalisse Castillo paced First Coast Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Castillo got some help from Isabella Jackson and her five assists. Sophia Cain controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Beaches Chapel was led to victory by Lyla Rose and Mckenna Burke. Rose had three digs and three aces, while Burke had seven assists and two aces. Those three aces gave Rose a new career-high.

First Coast Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Beaches Chapel, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Looking ahead, First Coast Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 6:30 p.m. As for Beaches Chapel, they will head out on the road to take on Harvest Community at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
