Basketball Recap: Ripon Christian Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Ripon Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Casa Roble Rams.

Casa Roble's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Moses Oginni led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. The match was Oginni's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ace Villegas, who en route to 16 points.

Ripon Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Casa Roble, their victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-4.

Ripon Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Casa Roble, they will challenge Natomas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Casa Roble's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 games.
