Basketball Recap: Nocona Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Nocona had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Muenster Hornets 64-62. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Nocona pushed their record up to 30-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Muenster, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-10.

Coming up, Nocona will take on Panhandle on Monday. Panhandle will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Nocona surely won't give up without a fight. Muenster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
