Volleyball Recap: Bernalillo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Highland last Tuesday, Bernalillo came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Hope Christian Huskies on Tuesday. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-13.

Bernalillo has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Hope Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bernalillo is set to square off against their familiar foe Del Norte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hope Christian will face off against rival Albuquerque Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
