Softball Recap: Hammond Morton Falls Short of Crown Point in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hammond Morton can now relate to. They came up short against the Crown Point Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The shutout was out of character for the Governors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Hammond Morton and nudges their season record down to 11-5. As for Crown Point, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

Hammond Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crown Point, they will challenge Hammond Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
