Softball Game Preview: Hemphill Hornets vs. Timpson Bears

For the second straight game, Hemphill will face off against Timpson. The Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hemphill heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They came up short against Timpson, falling 12-4. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timpson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Hemphill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-17-1.
