Softball Recap: SA Roosevelt Comes Up Short

SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Stevens Falcons. The Rough Riders were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Analia De Los Santos was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (two). Olivia Gholson was another key player, going a perfect1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Even though they lost, SA Roosevelt hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

SA Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stevens, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
